  3. Use real words.Every rung must be a common four-letter word. No names, and no repeating a word.
  4. Reach the bottom word.Stuck? Undo a rung, or take a hint. A hint tells you which letter to change, then the word.
  5. Beat the best route.Your step count is compared with the shortest possible ladder. Solve every day to build a streak and climb the leaderboard.
